At the age of ten, I went on a camping trip with my parents and four siblings.
We stumbled upon the most amazing place in the world: the Maharees on the Dingle Peninsula.
I had entered a wonderland like nothing I had ever seen before. That experience planted a seed in me. I never lost my sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of the Irish landscape, and from that came the desire to capture it on canvas and, hopefully, evoke the same feeling in others.
I married my husband, Mike, in 1972. We have three children and seven grandchildren.
For 30 years, I taught art and ran my gallery in Tralee, County Kerry.
I truly loved my work and the people I met along the way. I now work from home, where I have a studio and gallery overlooking the beautiful Tralee Bay and Brandon Mountain. The gallery is open to the public.
